Exposed: Rumbling with Rejection Sensitivity When Leading Out Loud

Exposed: Rumbling with Rejection Sensitivity When Leading Out Loud

Leading out loud as a creative, multi-passionate, or sensitive leader isn’t for the faint of heart. Every pitch, presentation, or “big idea” moment can feel like standing naked on stage waiting for judgment.

For those with ADHD, HSP wiring, or rejection sensitivity dysphoria (RSD), the sting of real or perceived rejection can feel almost unbearable. A slow email reply? Shame spiral. A “no” in a pitch meeting? Nervous system shutdown. Even imagined rejection can hijack your confidence.

And yet… your ideas, your leadership, your voice deserve to be heard.

In this 60-minute interactive workshop, we’ll get real about rejection sensitivity and how it shows up in leadership. You’ll learn how to separate your worth from external validation, regulate your nervous system in the face of “no,” and practice strategies for staying grounded, courageous, and visible, even (read: especially) when it feels risky.

This isn’t about toughening up or “getting over it.”
It’s about learning how to lead powerfully with it.

What You’ll Walk Away With

  • A clear understanding of what rejection sensitivity is (and why it hits harder for ADHDers, HSPs, and creative leaders).

  • Awareness of how it shows up in leadership, visibility, and decision-making.

  • Nervous system regulation practices to shift from shame spirals into grounded courage.

  • Tools to reframe rejection from proof of “not enough” → to data, redirection, or simply a mismatch.

  • Micro-practices for showing up boldly without abandoning yourself.

  • The confidence to bounce back faster, regulate your self-talk, and keep shining in the spotlight.

Your work, your brilliance & you Zone of Genius deserve visibility.

Before You Leap: Take a Breath, Make a Plan & Nail Your Career Transition

Before you rush into job applications, take a breath. Career transitions can feel overwhelming, but clarity before action leads to better, faster, and more fulfilling outcomes.

In this interactive workshop, we’ll challenge the instinct to panic-apply and instead focus on getting clear, confident, and aligned—so you’re not just landing a job, but landing the right job for who you are becoming.

You’ll learn how to pause with purpose, get crystal clear on your strengths and direction, own the story of your body of work, and align your energy so you’re showing up from confidence, not desperation.

If you’re in a season of change—by choice or by circumstance—this workshop will give you the clarity and strategy to navigate your next move with intention.

The Joy Collectors Club: Sauna Camp – Night Under the Stars

Imagine this... you step into the warmth of a wood-fired sauna, the cool night air swirling around you as you breathe deep, letting the weight of the world slip off your shoulders. The stars above. The sound of laughter. The deep, bone-level exhale you didn’t realize you needed.

This isn’t just a sauna. This is an exhale. A recalibration.

Join us at Sauna Camp at the end of February for a night of warmth, connection, and joy under the stars. You don’t have to do anything but show up, breathe, and let joy find you.

What to expect:

  • 2 hours of wood-fired sauna and cold plunging in the lake (cycle this at your own pace and desire).

  • Room to breathe and sit around a campfire, looking at the stars.

  • A Sauna Camp guide offering insight on the benefits of your sauna experience, tips on how to get the most out of it, and how to approach a lake plunge!

  • Moments of invitation to let go, reflect & get what you need.

  • You'll receive a Joy Collector beanie that you can use throughout your experience.

  • Time to connect with other Joy Collectors AND plenty of room for space and quiet, if desired.

Joy in your Body – Bold Body Peace Collective

"A monthly coaching group for powerful, high-achieving humans ready to reclaim their energy from body struggle, food anxiety, and the endless pursuit of “enoughness.”

Inside the Bold Body Peace Collective, we dismantle diet culture, shed the "shoulds" placed on us by society, unlearn self-doubt, and build a relationship with body, food, purpose, and self-care that is sustainable, values-aligned, and actually nourishing—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

This is where self-trust replaces shame, self-care becomes non-negotiable, and the way you exist in your body stops feeling like a battle. Because your impact, joy, and purpose are too important to be held back by systems that profit off your insecurity. Bold Body Peace is not just about food and body—it’s about leadership, visibility, and showing up fully in your life.

Come do this work in community. You don’t have to figure it out alone."

  • LINK TO SIGN UP (First month is half off!)

  • Date/time – Tuesday, April 22 12-1:30pm CST

  • Last month we continued our conversation around Capital-S self-care in a season where if feels like caring costs a lot. in alignment with the International Women's Day Theme of Caregiving we are going to talk about the challenges and realities of caregiving, caregiver's stress & burnout, the importance of caregiver self-care, and how we start to heal Human Giver Syndrome so we can sustainably love ourselves first & most so we can love our people best.

  • This month, we are talking about nervous system regulation, building stress resilience, and breaking free from food-focused coping. If you have been noticing increased patterns of stress eating, binge patterns, or in general, coping with food or other numbing choices like social media, TV, etc. this will be a great, non-judgmental space to reset and come up with new choices.

  • And in every BBP Collective meeting we also have the following:

    • Spotlight coaching support for individual wins, needs, challenges

    • Monthly goal setting & commitments

    • We brainstorm & resource as a group
